SIGNALIS

GENRE Survival Horror
YEAR 2022
PLATFORM PC / Console
DEV/PUB rose-engine / Balor Games
Signalis img1 Signalis img2 Signalis img3 Signalis img4

Signalis is a survival-horror game created by the beautiful folks at rose-engine and published by Balor Games (as of 2026).

Gameplay is HEAVILY reminiscent of resident evil and silent hill so if you like those you'll like that except with a twist (i love twists) its a 2.5D perspective. the combat is what you'd expect from this type of game with a few puzzles here and there.

the artwork are BEAUTIFULLY made and the story is packed with emotion and the heavy feeling of loss (I wont spoil here)

I could genuinely go on and on about the beauty of this game and what makes it so perfect, but I believe going into this with an open mind and no spoilers is the way to go.

this is a MUST PLAY for anybody and will be an experience that sticks with you for a while

VA11HALLA

GENRE Visual Novel
YEAR 2016
PLATFORM PC
DEV/PUB Sukeban Games / PLAYISM
Va11 img1 Va11 img2 Va11 img3 Va11 img4

one of my personal favorite games ever.

va11halla (or VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action) is (as its full legal name suggests) a cyberpunk bartending experience.

it is a cozy visual novel with an emphasis on mixing drinks for patrons to steer the conversation in different ways, thus replacing "dialogue choices" with a drinks menu instead. very clever 10/10 for that alone

every ounce of this game oozes charm, style and personality and every character that walks into the bar has that on FULL DISPLAY

the art is very well done and Japanese pc-98 inspired with a hint of cyberpunk dystopia. the soundtrack (which you get to pick before the start of each shift) is very well done and does a good job of bringing home that "cozy bar" feel

This game is a must-play for those into visual novels or those looking for a cozy experience and to immerse themselves in a new experience.

p.s. this game genuinely changed my outlook on life when I played it at a decently low point in my life and I hope it does the same for you if you seek to play it :)

PERIPETEIA

GENRE Immersive Sim
YEAR 2023
PLATFORM PC
DEV/PUB Ninth Exodus
peri img1 peri img2 peri img3 peri img4

peripeteia (or simply "Peri" as i will call it here) is a first-and-third-person role-playing stealth game in a dystopian cyberpunk Poland. It is developed and published by Ninth Exodus.

Peri plays similar to an immersive sim like those made around the time of the old DEUS EX games. its a niche genre for a lot of people but I think many people can find fun in it.

there's tarkov-like inventory management (grid-based inventory with ammo and mag rationing) and gunplay combined with RPG elements of finding various ways to complete a level.

one of my favorite aspects is how you can learn and explore levels to go from taking hours to complete them to a mere few minutes. the game allows many ways to solve problems as most of the environment is parkour-able and interactable.

the artistic design is stunning and it nails its dystopian cyberpunk aesthetic perfectly. the music is also full of banger tracks.

my only issue with Peri is that it is in early access currently and it shows. the game has a fair share of bugs and glitches and needs some revamping on the AI interaction, both quests and enemies, but otherwise, there's great potential here.

PICAYUNE DREAMS

GENRE Roguelite / Bullet Hell
YEAR 2023
PLATFORM PC
DEV/PUB Stepford, Andyland, milkypossum / 2 Left Thumbs
pica img1 pica img2 pica img3 pica img4

Picayune Dreams is a combination of roguelike "upgrade per run" games similar to vampire survivors with bullet-hell gameplay. it is developed by Stepford, Andyland, and milkypossum and published by 2 Left Thumbs.

I'm not going to lie to you, this game is very strange in terms of literally everything but in the best way possible. the game is very psychedelic and will make no sense (narratively) most of the time. HOWEVER, the gameplay loop is very refreshing and addicting. it does more than just be a "vampire survivors clone" in an already pretty saturated market.

the upgrades are fun to try out. the bosses are fun to get good at. the roguelite progression keeps things unique every run and it will demand you get good or keep dying trying.

the visuals in this game are so beautiful and truly special. Andyland did an amazing job delivering a dream-like and glitchy aesthetic and wrapped it up with a nice bow.

the music is so so good, genuinely love listening to this OST.

please try this game if you are looking for a bullethell game to sink some time into.

STUDIO SYSTEM

GENRE Survival Horror
YEAR 2025
PLATFORM PC
DEV/PUB alreti circle
stu img1 stu img2 stu img3 stu img4

Studio System (or better known as Studio System : Guardian Angel) is an interesting take on the fixed-camera survival horror genre. it was developed and published by alreti circle.

this game is mostly for those that don't mind fixed camera perspectives i.e. old resident evil style. during my playthrough of this game, i was immediately hooked on the premise and surrealist nature of the environments and characters. it reminded me very heavily of the 1999 cult classic anime Serial Experiments Lain and i believe that is where most of the inspiration for this game comes from, everything from character interactions to pieces of the soundtrack so bonus points for that :)

the character sprites and 3d models for friends and monsters are also really well done and i enjoyed them a lot as i've never seen models look as unique as this in a game.

now this game isnt without its flaws unfortunately. the gameplay has a bit of a jank to it. nothing too horrible or unplayable but just a *jank* that i could feel. i think this game is worth a fair shot and its also not too long to play through and rewards multiple endings.

PROJECT SILVERFISH

GENRE Immersive Sim
YEAR 2025
PLATFORM PC
DEV/PUB Siris Pendrake
proj img1 proj img2 proj img3 proj img4

Project Silverfish is an immersive sim (i've been loving these lately tbh) that is currently in early access. it scratches a stalker sorta itch that i enjoy. it is published and developed by Siris Pendrake (what a dev name).

like i mentioned before, the core gameplay boils down very heavily to stalker (i can't be bothered to put all the dots). you are placed in an area in a hostile zone and must survive encounters with enemy factions and anomalies. you even have artifact hunting to further cement the parallels. BUT this game does the formula so right and takes out some of the more tedious aspects of stalker, in exchange for a less realistic environment.

yes, the game is made by a furry and has strong furry ties that are obvious. but that should not worry you. everybody knows furries know ball when it comes to details. the gunplay and combat here is so much fun. you get a degree of player choice in how you make your character in terms of customization which is always nice. you can choose how you look, what skills you have, what factions you like/dislike, and where you spawn among some others.

speaking of factions, the AI in this game is pretty solid. the AI will fight eachother, roam around, grab loot, or even trade with the player. the only issue is that they have literal aimbot all the time. it gets so annoying with how accurate they are. but that's my only real issue.

i never ran into any other issues besides this though, the game ran very smoothly and i encountered 0 bugs or glitches that stood out to me. the game is in early access so that's pretty impressive. anyways, check it out if you like stalker or immersive sims.

LOG

LOG START // 4/13/2026 - current time: 5:04 AM HELLO! its so nice of you to stop by! welcome to the new and improved CEEPO'S CORNER terminal site! when i promised a renovated site, i wasn't lying. i wanted to create something new and fun from scratch as a challenge to myself and something to amaze everybody who was interested in the project from the beginning. thank you to everyone who asked me about the site and when it was coming back, it feels almost strange to me to have a piece of myself just uploaded for anyone to see and actually yk care about it and want to see it and read it and comment on it. you guys mean the world to me :) anyways... onto the site stuff and details! so this page you're currently on and reading from is the LOGS page, this is where i'll post any update logs for the site as well as any additional info i feel like jotting down. the HOME page is the home page... moving on the FAVORITES page is the meat of this whole thing so if you haven't stopped by there yet, i'll explain. that page contains a whole bunch of games that i hand-picked and listed for you to view! these are all games that i consider "hidden gems" and things that i think everybody should give a fair chance to attempt to play and check out! although there's many many great games out there i'd love to speak about here, i limit this site to games that are small projects by indie devs and don't have that much attention on steam. every game on that list deserves some time of your day i promise :) and if you don't like it, at least you tried it and that makes me happy by itself! onto the last for now, the LINKS page. the links page is for places on the internet i find cool! i'll link some personal indie dev pages so you can follow them and get your foot in the niche games door. there's also some places to find me besides here and my insta is linked in there so follow me if you'd like, that'd make me happy :) anyways, that's all for now! thank you for reading this far, enjoy browsing and stop by every now and again, there might be more for you to see! bye bye! LOG END //
LOG START // hi hi again! its currently been close to a month since i began working on this project. i figured its about time to add another entry and speak more about myself as the last log was mostly all about this place. making a website is easier than i expected it to be but the hardest part for me is keeping the motivation i had going into it. i'm a very difficult person when it comes to sticking to a single project. i tend to get self-critical and think that there's no real point in what i'm creating then just lose all steam when i hit a road block or slight challenge. the beginning of making this website, i believed i could have it done within a few days, then that turned to a week, then now turned into nearly a month. granted i went a little overboard in making the vibes and secrets (wink) of this place to make it overall more engaging and fun to browse, but the core point still stands. its such a strange feeling i always have that the less time i spend on something, i think of it as worse quality and my soul didn't really go into it, but then place me in a situation like now where it takes me a longer time to create something and suddenly i debate if it was a waste of time or not and if it really mattered. well, i guess YOU, dear reader, are the judge of that. outside of that, life is good. there's now a certain special somebody in my life who motivates me to do better, whether she knows it or not. everybody in my life keeps me motivated and im happy to have them all. my real-life job is a job and as much as i hate going to work, it pays for my peace of mind and keeps me active so that's good at least. its a night shift so it fits my ideal sleep schedule anyways. problem is i don't get to interact or talk with my friends as much as i wish i could so it gets a little lonely at times but they're all still just as important to me as before and i hope they know it. anyways, this log was more of a personal type. i just kinda typed in a flow state so if it sounds weird then oopsies. glad you stopped by to read all that and thank you :) LOG END //
LOG START // date unavailable - current time: --:-- this log is a bit of an update to something bothering me recently. there’s still some sort of old relay process attached to the site backend and i thought i removed this shit months ago it keeps attempting outbound connection requests every few hours through an old proxy port and i have no clue what keeps triggering it and the weird part is the requests are actually getting responses back?? i checked the active user registry again and it still only lists: - ceepo (hi, that's me) - joenuts-1 neither of these ping for the relay though so seriously wtf gonna disable the relay layer temporarily before this turns into a bigger issue if the terminal starts acting unstable after this then i know where the problem is coming from. i'll check utility backend later because i think the issue originates somewhere in the old remote management tools but that's just a guess atp idfk man im tired of this, seems like im always looking over my shoulder LOG END //
